This conference provides a Clinical Pharmacology Update for Non Medical Prescribers with a focus on the practical application of pharmacology to prescribing decision making. The conference will provide a series of extended focus sessions combined with practical interactive exercises to develop competence and confidence in prescribing decision making, understanding drug interactions, dealing with comorbidity, and ensuring safety in prescribing by updating your knowledge on common drug interactions, high risk medications and high risk groups. Case studies will focus on managing co-morbidity, frailty in the older person, mental health medications, medications safety, polypharmacy and personalised prescribing.
